May Raving Readers

Put your thinking caps on, Raving Readers! We'll be reading The Puzzling World of Winston Breen by Eric Berlin for our meeting on May 18, 2010. We'll meet from 6-7:30.

Twelve-year-old Winston loves to solve puzzles. When his sister Katie finds some mysterious strips of wood with words on them, Winston wants to know what they mean. Are there more clues? Where will they lead Winston and Katie? And who else knows about them?

Winston Breen is a wonderfully unique book with puzzles worked right into the story. You can help Winston track down clues as you go, or check the answers in the back of the book if you don't want to figure them out.

Best of all, the author will be paying us a "virtual visit" via Skype! Eric Berlin will chat live with the group, so bring your questions about his story, his characters, his puzzles... or just take this opportunity to tell him what you think of his book!
