Raving Readers April Title

Read Just Ella by Margaret Peterson Haddix and rave about it on April 20 at 6PM!

Margaret Peterson Haddix retells the story of Cinderella, from her beautiful appearance at the royal ball (she did not, by the way, have a fairy godmother to help her get there) to Cinderella's engagement to Prince Charming (who just might not be so charming!).

Ella Brown is used to hard work. She comes from peasantry, and can't believe all the things a Princess is not allowed to do. She is forced to learn palace culture and etiquette, but she rebels against the rules of the palace and runs away to find her own happiness. Hers is the story of an intelligent, motivated young woman who makes things happen for herself.
