Bookopoly for Poppy, by Avi, was a smash hit on Thursday! Children read the book and came to play a trivia game based on the book. Some of the exciting activities in the game included learning how to waltz, sorting porcupine quills (we substituted toothpicks for quills!), and dissecting an owl pellet. - Youth Services serves all children ages birth through eighth grade, their families, and others who serve children or appreciate children's literature. We provide reference services, storytimes, and in-house programs as well as school visits and collaborative programs throughout the community.
