Summer is rapidly approaching, and Youth Services is gearing up to meet the challenge!
This Saturday we will have tickets available for our first summer performer. Carole Peterson brings her catchy music to the library on June 5. Pick up your tickets starting May 17 at the Youth Services desk.
Anyone interested in chess can get in the game by registering for chess lessons (all levels) beginning on Monday, May 19. Lessons are open to students entering grades 2-12. If you're too excited to wait 'til lessons start, feel free to stop by the library's drop-in chess program at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, May 20.
We are already registering for Little Leaguers, our summer reading program for children under the age of 5 who are not yet in kindergarten. If your Little Leaguer hasn't registered yet, stop by Youth Services today! Students who are in school can register for the summer reading program starting on Monday, June 2.
Keep an eye out for our June Plum Jam to find out more about what's coming to Youth Services this summer!
